Janice Richardson,
Artistic Director

Janice's talent for creating beauty, attention to detail, writing skills, experience in promotion, management of large scale projects, all combine to provide extraordinary standards of excellence for your graphic and web design needs.

Anthony Richardson,
Technical Director

Anthony's training in Electronics Engineering and computer system management, plus his artistic skills in computer graphics, bring together a dynamic combination of talents for managing your technical and design needs.

Through the years, Janice's need to create beauty has led her to learn as much as she could regarding the tools of art, including studying college level art classes, calligraphy, watercolor, and drawing. Her exquisite sense for art, combined with the latest cutting-edge computer graphic design tools, brings together a unique set of skills important for your needs.

Besides being an artist, Janice is an effective project manager. For example, she directed several large and delicate community and statewide education projects for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and other organizations, largely due to her creative vision for "win-win" solutions.

In 1992, she created a fullscale landscape design business, Magical Gardens, in Portland, Oregon. Visualizing and bringing garden dreams to life for schools, businesses, and individuals led her to develop an invaluable set of skills that she uses for creating personalized and aesthetically pleasing websites.

Janice is also the co-author of The Light and Life Cookbook, and editor of Naturescaping, a Place for Wildlife.

Her eye for accuracy is essential for providing highly effective writing and editing. Janice fine-tunes all aspects of services offered by DoubleRich Design to perfection. She enjoys pleasing her customers with attractive, easy-to-use, and effective designs.

Anthony has been immersed in the world of computers for over 25 years. Effective and efficient management of file transfers and application of sophisticated graphic design programs, are as easy as weeding a garden is to Janice. Not only is he technically savvy, but he is skilled in communication and stays calm in the most unnerving situations.

He began studying the physics of color and light in grade school when his father gave him a dark room for Christmas. Photography developed into a favorite hobby. He also studied watercolors. The work of his sensitive eye can be easily seen in the quality of his scanned images.

Anthony's background as an Electronics Engineer in the mid '70's into the 80's, gave him a fundamental understanding of how computers work, and a level of depth for accurate correction of any software or hardware problem.

In 1987, as Senior Applications Engineer for a very high-end software company, he provided customer support and training to people around the world with varying English skills. He developed techniques for blending his technical background with the demands for sensitive communication skills -- something rare in the computer industry.

Anthony is also the owner of CompU-help, a computer support business, established in 1996. He stays abreast of the cutting edge trends in the industry and all of the latest design tools for DoubleRich Design.
